Turns 17-21, clearing the Red Base pocket

The image for turn 17 shows:

a) Cav/A Coy in its initial position South of the VP;

b) its movement path and combat prediction if it were to move right of 1/A Coy and attack the RT unit North of the VP (with the combat factors strip superimposed);

c) its actual position South of the Airfield, the combat prediction for the attack on the RT unit garrisoning the Airfield (3/0), the comparative combat factors strip and the big red cross over the RT's anti-tank gun warning of support fire;

d) 1/A Coy fully entrenched in the Red Base VP;

e) its combat predictions and comparative combat factors strips vs. each of the adjacent RT US Recruits;

f) X/A Coy Southwest of the Airfield where it should have been able to provide flanking support for !/A Coy's attack on the Airfield; this was negated by the RT's anti-tank gun moving from North of the Airfield to its current position.

The insert details the outcome of Cav/A and 1/A Coys attack on the Airfield, inflicting 8 hp and 2 efficiency damage. Above each RT unit is an excerpt of its information panel with the efficiency and entrenchment values. 1/A and Cav/A Coys earned 159 and 160 XP respectively.

Moving on to turn 18, note on the main image that the US Recruits North of the Red Base VP are now at 10 hp. They attacked 1/A Coy in turn #17 taking 3 hp casualties while 1/A Coy dropped from 9 to 8 efficiency and earned 146 XP.

Cav/A Coy opens the hostilities by destroying the AT Gun and moving into its position (insert #1), thus providing flanking support for 1/A Coy's attack on the Airfield garrison which takes 4 hp casualties and retreats North. 1/A Coy and Cav/A Coy earn 153 and 37 XP respectively.

On turn 19 Cav/A Coy again attacks first, destroying the former Airfield garrison (insert #1) and again providing flanking support to 1/A Coy's attack on the remaining RT unit which takes 5 hp casualties. 1/A Coy and Cav/A Coy earn 169 and 58 XP respectively.

On turn 20 1/A Coy inflicts 4 more hp casualties on the sole Red Base garrison surviving unit and finally destroys it on turn 21, earning 190 XP in the process. 6  out of 8 enemy units are now dead.
