Turns 16-22, East Town

By the end of turn #16 the US Marines reach the coast North of East Town (insert #1).
Advancing along the road through the jungle they come into contact with the last RT unit hidden in the jungle Northwest of the town and call in an hasty fire mission from FA/A Bty (insert #2).
That may have helped disrupt the RT Recruits' attack (turn #17) that resulted in the Recruits' losses of 2 hp and no damage to the Marines (insert #3) which earned 110 XP.
As the Marines settle in East Town, they are again attacked by the RT Recruits (turn #19), this time with 3 hp casualties on either side and earning the Marines an additional 183 XP (insert #4).
The main image shows the situation at the start of turn #22. All GT units but 1/A Coy are inside a three-hex radius of Strawville, the last VP in the hands of the RT which is down to two units at half their initial strength.
Moving the Marines into East Town on turn #18 was a tactical mistake: the jungle is a more favorable defensive terrain than the village; my goal in occupying the VP is to cut the U.S. Recruits in the jungle from supply and at this point they would still be supplied from Strawville.
