Turns 35-41

Figure 1 - Final objective in sight |
End of turn #35 and all units of the Green Team are able
to contribute to the assault of East Isle City and the elimination of the
remaining Red Team land units. There's a bunker that can be ignored for now,
one US Recruits, one US Heavy Infantry (fully entrenched), one 105mm M2A1
Howitzer (also fully entrenched) and an unrevealed Anti-Tank Gun in the VP
proper. The howitzer will be the target of the Navy's guns while our howitzers
stay outside its range.

Figure 2 - Assault begins |
In the AI's turn the Heavy Infantry makes the mistake of
leaving its entrenched position apparently to shield the howitzer.
Unfortunately it stops in a open terrain tile. Both FA batteries shell it in
turn #36 as does the New Orleans. Then it's the Cav/A and 1/C Coys turn to show
it the errors of its ways until it retreats with 2 HP.

Figure 3 - OPFOR Light Cruiser |
X/Cav/A Coy had spotted the RT's Light Cruiser when it
moved along the East coast towards the village to the North and has been
keeping tabs on it. The Navy had been moving along the West coast and by turn
#39 was in a position to engage it. The combat prognostics are color-coded to
indicate the turn. Note the destroyers' crosshairs for turn #39 are blue
denoting torpedo fire.

Figure 4 - Job done |
Turn #41, DD 423 Gleaves moves into port to conduct
repairs in the next turn. All of Red Team's units are dead and only the final
primary VP remains.
