Turns 8-10, Green Marines landing

In turn #7 two troop transports (carrying a unit of U.S. Marines and a reconnaissance Willys MB M1917) and a Supply Ship TM appear at the top left corner of the map. X/B Coy has surprisingly contributed valuable intelligence even when unsupplied and at half-strength but these two auxiliary units are a much welcome increase of our "small and inexperienced" force.
They immediately move towards the beaches on the Northwestern shore, land during turn #8, rest and reorganize during turn #9 as the Supply Ship TM provides supplies to the Marines and are fully combat-ready at the beginning of turn #10, even the Willys that is still in "enemy" territory.
Note that the main image is a composite showing the units while still on the transports and right after disembarking.
Note also how the friendly territory expands around the U.S. Marines from turn #9 to turn #10. As the unit was idle and in supply during turn #9 the hexes in its Zone-of-Control (ZoC) will become friendly territory if outside the ZoC of an enemy unit. That can provide valuable intelligence on hidden enemy units.
